Amazon Prime Day 2022 (or days, since the retailer’s unofficial holiday spans 48 hours) begins Tuesday, July 12th, and ends Wednesday, July 13th. Have you marked your calendar? Set your alarm?
As most of you know, a significant part of my job involves testing and reviewing products. I started my career as the very first beauty editor for Hearst’s BestProducts.com and went on to review products for various websites from EliteDaily to SheKnows. I currently write reviews and buyer guides for INSIDER, and have recently signed on as an e-comm contributor with Oprah Daily!
I’m constantly receiving and testing samples of beauty products, clothes, wellness gadgets, and food. I wouldn’t be surprised if the neighbors that watch me juggle boxes on boxes to the recycling dumpsters each week think I have a shopping problem.
Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee every brand that sends me their latest collection will be featured in a roundup or guide, for various reasons. One of them being, that there just aren’t enough opportunities to do so.
Ergo, I thought it might be fun to curate a bite-size list of Amazon Prime 2022 deals and sales, calling out some of the products I’ve generously been sent and have become obsessed with over the years.
***PLEASE NOTE: I am not sponsored, nor am I affiliated with any of these brands. I was gifted samples for review, and genuinely love/use/would buy them myself.
With that said, here are the items I would recommend adding to your cart while the discounts last.
Beauty/Skincare
AMOREPACIFIC Time Response Eye Reserve Creme
30% off
I love every single thing I’ve tried from this brand. Yes, it’s pricey, but I wholeheartedly believe you get exactly what you pay for it.
Honest Beauty Extreme Length Mascara + Lash Primer
20% off
I wrote a roundup of the best mascaras for INSIDER. I tried over 30 formulas and narrowed them down to my top 9, and this was one of them. The lash primer helps the mascara glide right on, and the inclusion of beeswax, carnauba wax, jojoba, and glycerin helps nourish these sensitive little fibers that don’t get nearly enough love.

This overnight lip mask is popular for a reason - it works. Plus, it comes in a bunch of flavors. I’m partial to Vanilla, but am curious to try the Gummy Bear …
BANILA CO Clean It Zero Original Cleansing Balm
11% off
Taking off my makeup is my least favorite part of my skincare routine. While I love a makeup remover wipe, I find cleansing balms to be much gentler on my complexion - not to mention, more effective. I’d consider Banila Co’s Clean It Zero a dupe for Clinique’s Remove the Day Balm (not to mention significantly more affordable). It also comes in different formulas, so you can pick and choose depending on your skin’s needs.
Sigma Beauty Spa Express Silicone Brush Cleaning Mat
7% off
If you aren’t regularly cleaning your brushes, maybe it’s because you don’t have the best tools to do so. Sigma’s brush cleaning mat is great. It sticks to your sink and swirling your brushes around the different textured sections really does help get all the gunk out of them. I find myself watching in awe as all the built-up powder pigment seeps out of the brush hairs. It’s gross but also unbelievably satisfying.
Haircare/Styling Tools
20% off
I will wax poetic over SugarBear Hair Vitamins until I die, or they’re discontinued. Whatever comes first. I used them to grow out my hair before my wedding and these delicious vitamin gummies worked like magic. Plus they taste amazing. Just like candy. No funky aftertaste.
30% off
I actually don’t own the Drybar Buttercup Blow Dryer. It wasn’t sent to me. Rather, I would borrow my mom’s when I still lived with my parents before I got married. I plan to purchase it for myself when my John Frieda fizzles out (which could be any day now, considering I’ve used it 3x a week minimum for the past six years…), but if you’re in the market for a new blow dryer NOW, do yourself a favor. Treat yourself to this wonderful styling tool. It dries hair like a dream, and quickly, too.
Drybar Single Shot Round Blow Dryer Brush
30% off
While I wouldn’t recommend Drybar’s Single Shot Round Blow Dryer Brush to anyone with long hair (unless you only plan to use it on your ends), I adore this hot tool when my hair is short. It makes styling super easy and gives your ‘do just enough body and bounce.
Fashion
Kendra Scott Elisa Pendant Necklace
20% off
Admittedly, I don’t really shop on Amazon for clothes, but I’ve been eyeing this Kendra Scott necklace for years and years. It’s such a simple design, but that’s what makes it classic in my book. Plus, it comes in so many colors (so many) that there’s bound to be a piece for everyone’s taste.
Wellness
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray
25% off
I’m hard of smelling, but This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray, well, it really works. A few spritzes and some deep inhales and I’m off to snoozeville. You will be too!
Misc.
Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Instant Camera
15% off
Polaroid cameras will never stop being cool. I love my Fujifilm Instax Mini, and I highly recommend anyone who loves taking pictures and documenting memories in a fun, old-school way to treat themselves to this gem.
So, was there anything on this list that caught your eye? Anything you have on your wishlist that I should add to mine?
