My Reformation Sale Wishlist Is Stacked With Summer-to-Fall Wardrobe Staples

I realize autumn doesn’t technically start until September 23rd, but I will forever live my life by the school-time calendar. This means summer spans from June 1st through August 31st, and September 1st kicks off sweater weather season.
This also means I’m starting to prep my wardrobe for the change in season now by scouring retailers for their best deals on transitional items. My goal is to invest in pieces that I can get as much wear out of now as I can in the coming months. The status of my shopping endeavors? Currently window shopping the Reformation Summer Sale.
I, admittedly, didn’t know about or shop Reformation before I became a fashion reporter. I’d heard the name from influencers (specifically Tess Christine) but hadn’t explored the site on my own. Then I began writing fashion content for InStyle, and Reformation became a website I frequented for shopping the trends and finding celebrity-favorited items. The retailer started as a storefront in LA selling clothing. It has since expanded and transformed into a label all its own, with a strong focus on not just quality, but also sustainability.
It also sells clothing that ranges in price points from under $50 to over $1,500. My wishlist items are nowhere close to the latter. I ball on a budget, as they say, and have become very picky about the clothing I invest my hard-earned money in. An item has to check all of my boxes in terms of quality and sustainability, but it also has to be something I love because if I just “like” it, I won’t wear it - not much, anyways.
Having said that, ahead I’ve put together a wishlist of items from the Reformation summer sale that I think would make great additions to the transitional capsule wardrobe I’m attempting to build. The list is made up of elevated basics that I think anyone could get a ton of use from in their wardrobe, especially if you’re in your quiet luxury era like I’m trying to be.

All great selects! Love the knit tanks!! I'm trying to be super mindful about shopping as well. If I don't love it, I don't buy it and I always look at versatility. It's really helped me save on space and money!!
