These Valentine's Day Gifts Will Have Him Feeling The Love
A mix of sweet, silly, and sexy picks to surprise your guy this February 14th.
I took a poll on my Instagram stories to see a) if anyone actually buys their partner something other than chocolate or flowers for Valentine’s Day and b) if Beyond My Byline subscribers wanted a Gifts for Him: Valentine’s Day Edition guide.
Evidently, the answer to both questions was a resounding yes.
So, here I am.
Let’s do this.
Before I start listing gift ideas, can I just say how much I love Valentine’s Day?
I don’t care if that’s corny.
I love love, and I love being in love.
I love showering my honey with love, and I love that there exists a holiday dedicated to doing just that.
Mark and I were only together a few months on our first Valentine’s Day, but I had a feeling that guy was special. So, I went all out.
I DIY-ed Dunkin-inspired strawberry frosted donuts in my dorm room.
I’ve bought him dozens of donuts since, and have continued the tradition of baking for some years, too (successfully mastering the art of the chocolate frosted and jelly-filled while I was at it)!

But this upcoming Valentine’s Day will be our 10th.
Our TENTH!
Needless to say, I want to do something extra special. What that is, I’m not sure.
Maybe curating this list will inspire me, too.
Welcome to A Special Valentine’s Day Edition of The Guerra Gift Guides!
Please note, I am not getting paid to write about these products, nor is this a sponsored post. I’m just trying to help you spread the love with an awesome, thoughtful gift this Valentine’s Day.
Without further ado, let’s get to it!
The Ridge Carbon Fiber 3K Wallet

$140, ridge.com
For the minimalist who can’t stand carrying around a bulky wallet, there’s The Ridge. Mark loves this sleek money holder that keeps his dollars and cards secure and organized in his pocket. It’s made from carbon fiber and is extremely lightweight.
TAFT x You Custom Shoe

from $275, taftclothing.com
Is he a sneakerhead? Does he appreciate a quality pair of shoes or boots? TAFT footwear is fancy footwear, and it recently launched a made-to-order platform on which you can choose your guy’s favorite style, size, and customize his new pair’s sole, materials, leather, laces and more.
Fossil Neutra Chronograph Watch
Courtesy of Fossil.
from $180, fossil.com
If he’s anything like my husband, he’s got a thing for watches. I love this one from Fossil, specifically in the stainless steel smoke design. The bracelet band gives the accessory an effortlessly cool aesthetic that’s appropriate for professional, formal, and casual environments. You can also get it engraved with a sweet message, initials, etc.
LUSH Black Rose Bath Bomb
Courtesy of LUSH.
$9.25, lushusa.com
For the boy who enjoys a nice bubble bath, enter the Black Rose Bath Bomb from LUSH’s Valentine’s Day collection. Described as a “scintillating” blend of rose and lemon oils, this bath accessory emits notes that are both citrusy and floral that aim to ease.
Bath & Body Works Bourbon Men’s Cologne

$39.50, bathandbodyworks.com
Did you know Bath & Body Works made cologne? Well, they do, and this sultry-looking bottle comes straight from the brand’s Valentine’s Day picks. It’s fragranced with notes of white pepper, dark amber, and Kentucky oak, which translates to a bold, smooth scent he’ll be spritzing on for many a date night to come.
Backbone One Mobile Gaming Controller for iPhone
$99, amazon.com
This was one of Mark’s presents for Christmas this past year, and I was really proud of myself for finding it! This is an attachment for iPhone that turns the smart device into a gaming console. One month of the Backbone+ app is included with your purchase, so your gamer can try new games, connect with friends, screen record, play on any screen, etc. I think it would make an especially great gift for the avid traveler.
elago R1 Apple TV Remote Case
$10.99, amazon.com
Apple TV remotes are objectively the worst, right? They’re so small and we’re always misplacing ours. I saw this case on Amazon one night and thought it was genius. You can find a bunch of them from different brands, in different colors, but basically the case extends the remote, which makes it harder to lose track of, plus it cradles it in protective materials so it doesn’t break.
The Unofficial SIMS Cookbook by Taylor O’Halloran
$17.99, amazon.com
If he played Sims for hours on end in high school, this cookbook is bound to unlock some hidden memories. It’ll also serve as a hint if you want him to start cooking more often, even if that means you’ll be living off delicacies like Silly Gummy Bear Pancakes (don’t worry, eventually he’ll level up to roast chicken and Baked Alaska).
Uncommon Goods Beer Chilling Coasters
from $35, uncommongoods.com
Buy him his favorite brew and pair the bottles (or cans) with these super cool (pun intended) coasters that can live in your fridge or freezer. When he cracks open a cold one, he can also grab a cold stone (get it?) and keep his beverage nice and chilled for the duration of his sipping session.
AloneThymeDesigns I’m Sexy and I Grow It Planter
$15.00, etsy.com
Ladies, gentlemen like to get flowers for Valentine’s Day, too! Or plants. Whether he’d prefer daisies, roses, or a cactus, fill this flirty planter with his favorite and pair it with his favorite candy for an easy, cutesy Valentine’s Day gift.
The Adventure Challenge Naughty & Nice Bundle
Photo courtesy of The Adventure Challenge.
$99.89, theadventurechallenge.com
Looking to spice up your life both in and outside of the bedroom? The Adventure Challenge books are full of ideas that bring, well, adventure back into your relationship. Each volume contains 50 date and in-bed escapades that are concealed by scratch offs, and the surprise is half the fun.
UniqueGiftLove Mini Photo Album Keychain
from $24.21, etsy.com
I’m a sucker for a sentimental gift, and this mini photo album keychain is sure to tug on your sentimental partner’s heartstrings. Each miniature leather-bound album is handmade by the Etsy seller, with photos printed on authentic photo paper. 14 photos complete the picture book, so choose wisely.
