I agree, movies with a girl tribe always make me feel a little sad too. Doesn’t always seem realistic . “Now and Then” is one of my favorites as well!!
I think movies and television created an ideal of what female friendships look like, and a lot of the time it was large groups or very tight-knit cliques. But female relationships are so much more complex.
